Final Project for UX Design at General Assembly

UX case study. Winter/Spring 2015.

For my final in the 12 week course, I focused on developing a more successful method of content discovery. Using television content as my subject, I conducted research through interviews, surveys and observations. Using insights gained from my research, I arrived at the problem statement:

What is the best way to consistently provide quality recommendations for something as unique and nuanced as personal taste?

In exploring this problem space, I created a competitive analysis of the market, personas, and user flows. Continuing to refine the concept, I sketched low fidelity wireframes and then mid fidelity wireframes in Axure. My final deliverable was a clickable prototype containing all essential features.

Next steps include continued iteration on wireframes as well as designing and implementing key UI elements.
